The time has come to say goodbye to Luke Perry on Riverdale.
The final episode featuring the actor, who died last month at the age of 52 following a stroke, will air this Wednesday on The CW.
Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa took to social media to announce the pivotal episode.
He wrote, “This week’s Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever…”
It’s still unknown how Riverdale will handle Perry’s and Fred’s departure.
