Mark Ruffalo and Catherine Keener have joined Ryan Reynolds in the sci-fi adventure feature “The Adam Project” at Skydance and Netflix. Filming began last week in Vancouver.
Reynolds plays a man who travels back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. Together, they have to find their late father, who is now the same age as Reynolds, and set things right in order to save the future.
Ruffalo is playing Reynolds’ dad, a brilliant physicist. Keener will play the movie’s villain, a woman who has stolen powerful technology from the physicist. Walker Scobell plays Reynolds’ younger self and Alex Mallari Jr. is the villain’s right hand.
Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner also star. “Free Guy” helmer Shawn Levy directs.
