Paramount Pictures has set a March 31st 2023 release date for the sixth entry in the “Scream” franchise – the film following hot on the heels of this January’s fifth entry titled simply “Scream”.
Paramount and Spyglass Media produced that film which served as a mini-reboot of the series and grossed $139.5 million globally from a $25 million budget.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are returning to direct while James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick are back to co-write the screenplay. Filming will begin this Summer.
Paramount has also set a January 12th 2024 release date for its untitled Bob Marley biopic which will star Kingsley Ben-Adir and be directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (“King Richard”).
