Following yesterday’s poster reveal, NEON and Topic Studios have released the first trailer for the Kristen Stewart-led Princess Diana film “Spencer” opening in limited release on November 5th.
In the flm, the marriage of Princess Diana (Stewart) and Prince Charles (Jack Farthing) has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate.
There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different. Spencer is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.
Pablo Larrain (“Jackie,” “Neruda”) directs from a script by Steven Knight (“Eastern Promises,” “Peaky Blinders”). Timothy Spall, Sean Harris and Sally Hawkins co-star.
