Paramount+ has launched the teaser trailer for “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” the new series which follows the voyages of the pre-Kirk U.S.S. Enterprise.
Boasting a more standalone episodic structure, the series sees former “Hell on Wheels” star Anson Mount returning as the iconic Captain Christopher Pike alongside Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock.
They’re joined by Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga, and Bruce Horak as Hemmer.
“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” is expected to premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in May.
