The planed spin-off series from Amazon’s “The Boys” is closing in on a series order. In addition, Lizze Broadway (“The Rookie,” “Bones”) has joined the ensemble cast of the new project as a young superhero.
The irreverent, R-rated new series is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes that is run by Vought International.
These hormonal, competitive supes put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, brutally competing for the best contracts in the best cities.
Craig Rosenberg is writing the pilot and will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver will also executive produce.
“The Boys” itself is currently in production on its third season following a second season which had the most-watched global launch of an Amazon original series ever.
