Unreal Engine has released a ten-minute video showing off the introduction and some ‘gameplay’ from “The Matrix Awakens”.
Downloadable now for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, ‘Awakens’ is a tech demo showcasing the power of Unreal Engine 5 – a developer tool capable of real-time cinema-quality graphics that will power the next generation of video games and production.
Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss return to their roles of Neo and Trinity for the demo created by members of the original movie team including Lana Wachowski.
Cinematics are blended with a fast-paced third-person shooter experience and a vastly detailed open world to explore the future of interactive storytelling and entertainment.
