Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its nine-episode short form thriller series “Calls” directed by Fede Álvarez (“Evil Dead,” “Don’t Breathe”) and premiering worldwide on March 19th.
Each episode sports a dark mystery unfolding through a series of average, unconnected phone calls that quickly become surreal and unsettling.
Inspired by the French series of the same name, the project is dubbed a “groundbreaking, immersive television experience that masterfully uses audio and minimal abstract visuals to tell nine bone-chilling, short-form stories.”
The cast list is insane and includes Rosario Dawson, Karen Gillan, Judy Greer, Pedro Pascal, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jennifer Tilly, Ben Schwartz, Aubrey Plaza, Stephen Lang, Nick Jonas, Clancy Brown, Danny Huston, Lily Collins, Mark Duplass, Edi Patterson, Danny Pudi, Jaeden Martell, Paolo Nunez, Riley Keough, Joey King and Paul Walter Hauser.
