Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan
Abbie Cornish, who portrayed Cathy Mueller in the first season of Amazon Prime’s “Jack Ryan” series, will reprise the role in the recently announced fourth season.
Mueller was a key supporting character in the first season alongside John Krasinski and Wendell Pierce, but wasn’t mentioned in the second and likely isn’t in the upcoming third. [Source: Deadline]
Succession
Following the return of “Succession” last night, HBO has released a new ‘in the weeks ahead’ promo for the remaining eight episodes of the third season.
The new trailer indicates the war within the Roy family is only going to get hotter along with hinting at the potential downfall of the Roy family’s Waystar Royco conglomerate.
Family Reunion
Netflix has renewed its family sitcom “Family Reunion” for a ten-episode third and final season. The series follows the McKellan family who moved from Seattle to Georgia to be closer to extended family with three generations now living in the same house. [Source: Variety]
Power Book II: Ghost
Starz has released a new trailer for the return of “Power Book II: Ghost”. This sequel series follows Tariq St. Patrick still trying to escape his father’s shadow and trying to piece his life back together, willing to do anything to protect his family. Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige, Shane Johnson and more co-star in the series which returns November 21st.
The Witcher
Following Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia getting one the other day, now Freya Allan’s Ciri and Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer have scored character posters for the second season of the big-budget fantasy drama “The Witcher” based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski.
Following the events at the Batlle of Sodden Hill, Geralt will keep training Ciri in combat, forging her into the warrior she is bound to become. The new season will premiere on December 17th.
