The Witcher
Production on the second season of Netflix’s high fantasy series “The Witcher” has resumed following a brief pause on November 7th after four members of production tested positive for COVID-19. Redanian Intelligence reports that cast and crew have returned to work at Arborfield Studios in Surrey for at least one night shoot. It should be noted that it is currently unknown if the central cast members were present for filming.

Conan O’Brien
Conan O’Brien will wrap his TBS late night show on June 2021 following ten seasons on the cable network. He’ll then segue to a weekly variety series on HBO Max, though TBS will still continue to air his “Conan Without Borders” travel specials. O’Brien is the longest-tenured current host of a late night show – having worked a a late night host since 1993. [Source: HBO Max]

Dexter
Marcos Siega has signed on to executive produce and direct six of the ten-episode revival of Showtime’s “Dexter” starring Michael C. Hall. Siega helmed nine episodes of the original series run and has worked on countless shows from “True Blood” and “Veronica Mars” to “Batwoman” and “The Following”.

Set a decade after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the closed-ended revival sees the character now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami. The series ended with Dexter in self-imposed exile as a lumberjack and living a solitary life. The revival films early next year. [Source: The Live Feed]

Woke
Hulu has officially renewed Keith Knight’s comedy series “Woke” for an eight-episode second season. The renewal comes over two months since the Lamorne Morris-led series debuted its first season back in September to strong reviews.

“Woke” follows the story of an African-American cartoonist living in San Francisco, who is finally on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes everything. Keef must now navigate the new voices and ideas that confront and challenge him, all without setting aflame everything he’s already built. [Source: Deadline]

His Dark Materials
In the wake of Sunday’s second season premiere of “His Dark Materials,” HBO has released a promo offering a look at the remaining six episodes of the second season the fantasy series. The clip teases the intensified search for Lyra as her part in the prophecy comes to light while the Magisterium continues to wage war against those who defy them.
