BBC America has unveiled the trailer for the holiday special “Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks” which hits on New Year’s Day.
With the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) having been taken prisoner, her companions must find a way to protect Earth in her absence. The team soon joins forces with Captain Jack Harkness to defeat the Daleks who are being introduced by the UK government as defense drones.
John Barrowman is returning as Captain Jack in the special while Dame Harriet Walker, Chris Noth and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett also star. Noth will reprise his role of the Trump-esque character Jack Robertson.
“Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks” will air on BBC America on January 1st.
