Alma Wahlberg, mother of actors Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg and their seven other siblings, has died at the age of 78.
Alma was prominently featured on the reality show “Wahlburgers” where she became one of the most beloved parts of the series which ran for ten seasons and dealt with the family’s burgeoning restaurant business.
Various members of the Wahlberg family made the announcement on Sunday morning via social media.
In his post about her death on Instagram, Donnie wrote: “I’ve often said, if you like anything about me, I got it from Alma. I say that, because it’s true. She was, without a doubt, the most loving human being I’ve ever known.”
