There’s a lot going on this week.

Pub and restaurant plans are very much back on the table for the first time in months, and now there’s another reason to celebrate.

Costa is selling hot drinks for 50p this week, to mark the coffee chain’s 50th birthday.

The promotion is running for three days, kicking off from Tuesday April 13th, at participating stores.

So, whether you fancy an indulgent hot chocolate, a flat white pick-me-up, or the brand’s limited-edition Toffee Spiced Latte, the choice is yours – but all hot drinks are part of the deal.

There’s also the option to get a maximum of three drinks extras or an alternative milk.

Whatever your order of choice, you won’t miss out.

Customers simply need to be registered on the Costa Coffee Club app, then scan it when they purchase their beverage, and the 50p price will come up.

Caffeine lovers can also get involved if they are using a Costa Coffee Drive-Thru or the store’s Click & Collect service.

A Costa spokesperson said: ‘We know it’s been a tough start to 2021 for many and we want to bring some joy to our customers this spring, especially at a time when lockdown restrictions are easing, and we now have an opportunity to catch up with friends and family.’

It seems this week is a big one for discounts and freebies as Aperol is offering free drinks to celebrate the pubs reopening.

Elsewhere in the world of beverages, rival chain Starbucks has brought out a new drink for summer – a bubblegum Frappuccino, which comes with popping candy on top.
