Amazon is developing a live-action TV series based on Hasbro’s “G.I. Joe” franchise, a series centering on the character of undercover operative Lady Jaye.
Adrianne Palicki portrayed the character in the 2013 feature film “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”. This series will be a standalone story focused on Jaye, but will also connect to the larger G.I. Joe universe which potentially includes the upcoming “Snake Eyes” movie starring Henry Golding.
Erik Oleson, showrunner on the third season of Netflix’s “Daredevil” and the second season of fantasy drama “Carnival Row,” will create and showrun the series and will executive produce alongside Lorenzo DiBonaventura for Paramount Television Studios, eOne and Skydance Television.
