The CW has released the first teaser trailer for “Superman & Lois,” the newest Arrow-verse series which premieres February 23rd.
Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprise their titular roles following several guest appearances across several Arrow-verse shows (mainly “Supergirl”).
Unlike previous shows or films with the characters, here the pair begin their run not only years into a relationship but also as working parents raising two teenage boys.
In the series, their family returns to Smallville to handle some Kent family business where they are reacquainted with Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui).
The series also stars Erik Valdez as Lana’s fire chief husband, Inde Navarrette as Lana’s rebellious daughter, Wole Parks as a mysterious stranger who will shake things up, and veteran TV actor Dylan Walsh as Lois’ father General Samuel Lane.
The series is written and executive produced by Todd Helbing (“The Flash”) and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns.
