It has been nearly eighteen months since the second season finale of FOX’s “The Orville”. Though it was already renewed, this time jumping over to Hulu, there has been little sign of the series moving forward.
The show’s star and executive producer Seth MacFarlane finally has an update on the new episodes, saying: “we are working on it. We’re working on it very hard, we got hit by this just like everyone else but we’re working on it.”
MacFarlane offered the update during an Instagram conversation with co-star Jessica Szohr. The new season will boast a shorter episode count at eleven, but each episode will increase to fill nearly a full hour as opposed to running the network 42 minute standard. We will also reportedly see an increase in two-part episodes.
