If you’re a wrestling fan, you probably have your favorite Wrestlemania moment. Whether it’s Hulk Hogan bodyslamming Andre The Giant at Mania III or Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey main eventing Mania 35, there are so many noteworthy moments for fans to fall in love with.
And because WWE wrestlers are superfans themselves, they all have their individual favorite moments, something that’s special or means something to them. During Wrestlemania weekend, GameSpot was invited to a press event and asked a handful of talent–and one legendary manager–their favorite Wrestlemania moments that didn’t involve them.
Check out answers from AJ Styles, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, Jimmy Hart, Bron Breakker, Becky Lynch, and Austin Theory.

Becky Lynch: Wrestlemania 31
“Heist of the century, baby. I was there in person. I was there in person. Yeah, that was my first WrestleMania that I attended. So we were in NXT. And they brought some of the NXT people for access and whatever. So I was standing there watching it with Sasha Banks. We were a famous tag team duo at the time known as Team BAE. And, and, and yes, we watch it together. And that was yeah, it was electric.”
Austin Theory: Wrestlemania 27
“John Cena was somebody that always motivated me and stuff like that. So anytime I got to you know, go to a friend’s house, and see WrestleMania, I always liked his like entrances. I do remember specifically once on like getting real hype for Miz And Cena at WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta just the beginning like the whole the DMX intro that I think Miz had or maybe it was Cena had and it was like a prayer. Then Miz had like the control on going on up and just like, I love that stuff. It was so cool. But I think that was a really good moment for me because it’s something I actually saw in person. But I think like watching on the TV, it was always like Jeff Hardy jumping off the ladder on Edge.”
AJ Styles: Wrestlemania 32
“I’m mean, for me, the first thought was when I wrestled for Jericho, and I walked out, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re in AT&T Stadium. And it was just a sea of people. I couldn’t believe it. It’s my first WrestleMania [in front of] 100,000 people. It’s pretty unbelievable.”
Note: Styles was the only time we didn’t preface the Mania moment question to not involve them.
Naomi: Seeing the Undertaker’s entrance live at Wrestlemania
“There was one, and I don’t remember where it was, but I got to watch. I got to watch from the audience, and I never got to see from the audience. I was [always] watching in gorilla or like in the TVs in the back. To be in the audience and feel that energy and see it live. It sends chills down your back.
“My husband (Jimmy Uso) for a lot of years they were on, people don’t realize, for years they were always on the preshow. That first time they actually had to be on the WrestleMania card it was special for me. When they’re in that predicament their attitude is to be hard to follow.”
Bron Breakker: Wrestlemania 28
“Triple H versus the Undertaker, with Shawn as the special referee. That’s hard to beat.”
Rhea Ripley: Wrestlemania 37
“I love the match between Sasha and Bianca, of course. As many times as I can, I’ll always put Bianca over. I think she’s bloody incredible. She’s so good at what she does, and then to have her in there as the main event, making history.”
Jimmy Hart: Wrestlemania I and III
“Number three was great because I went out three times on that one. WrestleMania I is the most important because it hadn’t been successful, we wouldn’t be having WrestleMania 38. I don’t think there’ll be any wrestling anywhere, if Vince hadn’t kept this thing going for all these years. Because the small territories were already dried up anyhow. Because no, no buildings for them to go in. Trying to draw that much money, as expensive things are now.”
