Tiffany Haddish is set to star in and produce the McG-directed film adaptation of the Dark Horse comic “Mystery Girl” at Netflix.
Haddish plays Trine, an amnesiac woman living off the grid in Los Angeles as a street psychic and guided by an omniscient voice in her head that knows everyone’s business and darkest secrets.
A down on his luck LAPD officer seeks out her help in hopes that she’ll help him crack a case, the two are framed for murder and must work together to clear their names.
McG, Mary Viola, Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg will produce for Dark Horse Entertainment (“Umbrella Academy,” “Polar”).
