“The Raid” franchise and “Wu Assassins” series star Iko Uwais has scored the villain role in the upcoming fourth “The Expendables” movie.
Uwais plays a former military officer-turned-arms dealer with his own private army. Further plot specifics are under wraps, but Stallone has already completed his scenes and is said to have only a small supporting role this time out.
Uwais joins returning stars Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture along with new to the series Megan Fox, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Jacob Scipio and Andy Garcia.
Stuntman-turned-helmer Scott Waugh is directing from a script by Spenser Cohen, Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
